About the artist
My name is Deeanah Cooper and I’m a part time artist working from a lovely area in the Valley
Western Australia.
Through my work I love incorporating the spectacular colours of life-flowers birds’, trees to make funky bright pop art pieces, and picturesque sceneries.
How it started
My love and passion for art flourished when I was in Kindy! Yes, would you believe I do remember some fond memories from when I was the ripe age of 6! Bubble paining it was! Where you mix paint with a little water and a touch of dishwashing liquid, you then blow into a straw to create lots of bubbles! I was so intrigued by the colours and patterns. I soon grew to learn and develop the love for art!
What inspires the artworks?
My inspiration comes from the marvellous beauty around us. We live in a world with rich and
spectacular colours! Everywhere we look there are different shades and colours that catch our eye.
Some are subtle others are sharp contrasts but together they draw our attention to the striking
beauty that is all around us through creation. I love incorporating these into my designs!
